DREAMING, FANTASIZING & IMAGINATION
Where are those partnership vows? And so, we turn our attention to the dreaming state, the subtle mind, subtle body and the subtle sensuality. Is the love, the couple shares, in the waking gross state extended in dreams? Hardly ever or never. Are they still all lovey-dovey, sharing space, co-presence, in the state of dreaming? No. The mind here is in a state of disarray. Much drama is played out in dreams, pleasant and unpleasant. It is known that the cause of dreams is the unbalance or the disparagement of humours within the body. It is true to a certain extent when we examine how the humours and hormones at puberty cause mayhem in the young mind. Nature provides for this with the onset of certain erroneous body parts descend, become actuated, pronounced and burst forth. Then follows episodes of erotic dreams. Wet dreams. The subtle mind seeing such erotic dreams cause the gross body to release erotic sensations and fluids, vividly played out like in the waking state. But note it is not necessarily intimacy with a future partner, or “being in love,” but with a subtle stranger.
Fantasy, Daydreaming and Imagination | The Subtle Mind
Perhaps, the individual’ pandora’s box of karma also plays out in the subtle state. Dream on if you are looking for a virgin to partner with. Monogamy, makes the writer chuckle. What separates monogamy and polygamy? Time. Humans are wired to couple with multiple partners. Think about this. And so, the phase of wet dreams passes, but erotic dreams can occur at any age and during waking and dreaming phase of the mind, whether one is “in love” or not. The storage box, memory, captures screen-shot all day along, and so, those stored screenshots, can fabricate in the mind, not in the way we expect, but in a discordant manner in a dream. But in the waking state imagination fabricated by the mind is seen to be congruous. Do you know for certain what your partner thinks, imagines and dreams? Perhaps, he or she has read an erotic script, or watched a movie of a favourite actor/actress, or a favourite singer, which plays out as a fantasy in the subtle state as prompt-image-animation, but also, perhaps, fabricated in the mind of the beholder during intimacy in the waking state. Natural moments of daydreaming, fantasizing, and imagination or prompt-image-animation are an incredible tool of the subtle mind. The uncomfortable truth is that, huge life size pin-ups, hang on the walls of the teenage rooms, adult garages, clubs, etc. Do we think those teenies are not fantasizing and pleasuring intimacies? Let us be clear about this. Not just teenies, but adults are at it too, so to speak. Perhaps, even an erotic chapter in a book could spice-up prompt pleasuring intimacy and fantasy in the mind of the beholder.
Intimacy starts in the mind, Humans are, after all, nature-driven animals. And so, I will tell you this, where is infallibility, fidelity and trust in the subtle state of the mind? In daydreaming. In imagination? Here is the thing. You don’t get persecuted for daydreaming, imagining, dreaming, and fantasizing outside the partnership. Imagination, the subtle mind, has no boundaries. No piety. No control. No policing. Some nations prosecute people for lusting after a spoken-for woman—adultery, but then, perhaps, the whole of humanity is guilty of fantasizing. Makes the writer chuckle. But who catches who in the subtle state of imagination? After all, it is the same mind that rapes an image of a person in the mind that rapes a person in the subtle mind and then projected and acted out in the gross state.
Perhaps, the problem is this—most do not consider a human being in all the three states of being—they only consider the waking state as bona fide. They are clearly wrong. So, human society, mostly unconscious, judges and persecutes beings based only on the bona fide gross state of waking. How can they persecute imagination? For most, dreaming is just an illusion, fake, non-sense, but did you consider that in the subtle state of dreaming as fake, illusionary, non-sense? No. The gist of this ancient teaching is this. There is no difference between the waking and the dreaming states for those who are conscious, awakened, but not for those who are unconscious, unawakened.
